The Story of Made by Marge

My name is Margaret (Marge), and I am a cookie lover who set out to perfect the chocolate chip cookie.

I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and when I went to Stanford for college, my native Palo Alto roommate's family became my home away from home. We frequently escaped the dorms to her house for a home cooked meal which always came with chocolate chip cookies. In her home, chocolate chip cookies became a token of comfort, warmth, and unconditional love. Her house is where my love for chocolate chip cookies began.

 

 After college, I decided to tweak my own recipe. I used my friends as taste testers across batches, each with one small recipe change. I knew I landed on my recipe when I consistently heard, "this is the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever had."

I don't tweak the recipe anymore. I just sell the perfect chocolate chip cookie dough.
